LIEUTENANT COLONEL (RET)

Dr. Topp is an internationally recognized leader in the field of spinal medicine and surgery. He specializes in advanced adult and pediatric treatment options for pain and deformity related to disc degeneration and herniation; scoliosis; kyphosis; spondylolisthesis and other spinal deformities; spinal stenosis; spinal tumors; infections and spinal trauma.

Dr. Topp started Topp Spine and Orthopaedics after a distinguished twenty-four year career in the United States Army. He has deployed to combat numerous times in support of Operations Desert Shield and Storm, as well as, Operation Enduring Freedom. He has held numerous leadership positions throughout his career. These positions included an Armor Company Executive Officer, Medical Company Commander, Director of the Army Trauma Training Center and Chief of Spinal Surgery at Brooke Army Medical Center. His military awards include the Purple Heart, two Bronze Stars and the Legion of Merit.

Jonathan was born and raised in Brunswick, Georgia. He graduated from Coastal College of Georgia with an Associated of Radiologic Science and a Bachelors of Profressional Studies. Jonathan worked as a radiologic technologist for 7 years before beginning PA school at South University. He graduated from South in 2020 and was certified with the NCCPA shortly after. After working in Albany, NY, he has now moved back South to work with familiar faces here at Topp Spine and Orthopaedics.

Jennifer has been dedicated to the medical field since 2016, beginning her career as anRadiologic Technologist. Over the years, she has gained valuable experience in surgical scheduling and physician support, finding deep fulfillment in facilitating patient care. Her passion lies in making a meaningful impact on patients' lives, ensuring they receive the highest quality of care.

Outside of work, Jennifer cherishes time with her husband, children, and family, whether enjoying lively outings or quiet evenings at home. She also has a love for shopping and savoring delicious seafood, adding a touch of joy to her everyday life

With over 14 years of experience in the healthcare industry, Christina is a familiar face at Topp Spine and Orthopedics. She'll be the first person to greet you as you walk through our doors, ready to help you schedule appointments and ensure a smooth check-in experience. Her genuine compassion for helping others makes her a valued part of our team. Outside of work, Christina enjoys a happy life with her husband, Dillon, and their four boys. She loves to travel and is happiest when spending time outdoors, especially by the river or at the beach
